Services and history

Our nursery has been proudly serving families since 1952, developing a long-standing reputation as a trusted and nurturing early years setting within the community. With over seven decades of experience in childcare and early education, we continue to adapt and grow while maintaining our core values of care, consistency, and child-centred learning.

We have achieved an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ for the past 30 years, most recently confirmed in June 2025, reflecting our continued commitment to high-quality provision, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children.

The Staff Team

Our nursery is led by Debbie, the owner, who has been a dedicated member of staff for the past 30 years. Supporting her is our deputy, Eva, who has been part of the team for 12 years. Together, they bring experience, stability, and a deep understanding of early years care and education.

We have a consistent team of six staff members, including Debbie, who work at the nursery throughout the week. This continuity allows children to build strong, secure relationships with familiar adults, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and confident in their environment. These trusted relationships play a vital role in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, development, and sense of belonging.
